Description
Wolkentanz dam, the state premium mare, Lovely, gave birth to Wolkentanz 11’s full sister Weisse Rose, who became class winner at the Louis Wiegels Show in 1994. The black coloured dam sire Ludendorf made a name for himself as a producer of easy to ride dressage and jumping horses in Emsland, and in East Friesland.
After winning the licensing and the conquest of the Federal Championships of the German Riding Horse in 1994, this typical son of Weltmeyer only missed the ‘triple crown’ by ½ point in the total score as runner-up in the performance test. Wolkentanz is ‘champion-type’ and of extra class, with spotless conformation, good muscles and outstanding expression.
This excellent Weltmeyer son has flowing, expressive, rhythmical movements along with correct conformation and a wonderful mind. He will sire dressage horses of undisputed excellence. He has been promoted up to advanced class in sport. Without a shadow of a doubt Wolkentanz represents top dressage ability from Germany.
First breeding in 1995. In 2001 a Wolkentanz colt won the Hanoverian Foal Championship with fantastic scores. Only a few weeks later the chestnut colt achieved the top price at the Verden Elite Auction of Foals and Broodmares. In 2001 another offspring became Federal Champion in the class of the 3 yo riding horses at the Federal Championships in Warendorf.
He has 21 licensed sons, 106 state premium mares, 401 main studbook mares, and 168 auction horses. He is a very high improver in riding type in his foals, and in conformation. His breeding value for dressage is outstanding. Winning sum of progeny is Euro 553,360.00.
